Loyalist Township is advising residents that biosolids, also called “sludge,” are being removed from the Amherstview sewage treatment plant this week.
The regular maintenance task can stir up noticeable odours. Depending on wind direction, residents may experience stronger smells while crews complete the lagoon cleanout.
