The Civic Holiday on Monday will bring closures and adjusted hours across many City of Peterborough services and facilities.
City Hall offices, including Service Peterborough, Building Services, and the Clerk’s Office, will be closed. There are no changes to curbside waste collection, but the landfill and hazardous waste depot will be closed for the day.
Peterborough Transit will run on a Sunday/holiday schedule. Recreation facilities like the Sport and Wellness Centre will be open limited hours, while others, including Healthy Planet Arena and Kinsmen Civic Centre, will be closed.
The Museum and Archives will be open noon to 5 p.m., while the Art Gallery and libraries will be closed. Lifeguards will be on duty at Beavermead Beach, splash pads and wading pools will be operating, and the Riverview Park and Zoo remains open.
