Registration is now open for what is arguably the biggest annual celebration of community philanthropy that Peterborough is host to.
The launch of the United Way of Peterborough and District’s 2025-26 fundraising campaign will be held September 25th at the Healthy Planet Arena. Registration for the noon event, which features lunch, speakers and networking opportunities, can be made here.
United Way CEO Jim Russell says the event, at which the campaign goal will be revealed, provides an opportunity to come together and declare a shared commitment to the attainment of that goal.
As for the goal itself, Russell says a lot of discussion is held around that.
While acknowledging that while numerous worthy causes petition for support each year, United Way campaign dollars are vital to the continued provision of life changing initiatives provided by its member agencies.
Russell says campaign launch attendees can be assured of a fun time.
