The Town of Greater Napanee is asking residents in several neighbourhoods to be cautious after a watermain break on Heritage Park Drive on Monday. The break may affect homes on Heritage Park Drive, Church Street, Gateway Place, Ginger Street, Stone Street and the stretch of Newburgh Road between Camden Road and Church Street.
The Town says the watermain has been repaired and the precautionary drinking water notice will remain in effect.
Officials say some residents may experience low water pressure, unusual odours or discoloured tap water. Anyone noticing these issues is advised not to drink the water until service returns to normal.
The town says updates will be posted on its online Newsroom as repairs continue.
