Two people are facing impaired driving charges after separate incidents in Lennox and Addington County, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
The first occurred on Monday, July 14, just before 4:00 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a vehicle parked on County Road 11 in Greater Napanee. Police arrested 51-year-old Joseph McKeil of Greater Napanee, who is charged with impaired operation and driving with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.
The second incident happened on Tuesday, July 15 at about 10:30 p.m. on County Road 1 in Stone Mills Township. Officers responded to a traffic complaint and found the driver was four times over the legal alcohol limit. A 32-year-old woman from Arden faces several charges, including impaired driving, dangerous operation, driving while suspended, and having open liquor and cannabis in the vehicle.
Both were released and are scheduled to appear in court in Greater Napanee.
