Two drivers are facing impaired driving charges after separate incidents in Lennox and Addington County, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.
On Saturday, July 19, 2025, just after 6 p.m., officers responded to a traffic complaint on County Road 6 in Loyalist Township. Police located the vehicle and arrested the driver. Bruce Williams, 73, of Odessa, was charged with impaired driving and driving with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his system. He was released and will appear in court in Greater Napanee on August 5. His licence was suspended for 90 days.
On Monday, July 21, just before 1 a.m., police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 41 in Addington Highlands. Saheed Hassan, 22, of Brampton, was arrested and charged with impaired driving by drugs and several other offences. He was also released with a 90-day licence suspension and is due in court August 12.
