The Township of Hamilton has officially launched its newly redesigned municipal website, offering residents a more modern, user-friendly online experience.
The updated site features a clean layout, simpler navigation, and easier access to services like permit applications, bill payments, recreation schedules, and council meeting information. It also allows users to subscribe to news updates and alerts, making it easier for residents to stay informed.
Deputy Clerk Amanda Millar said the redesign was built around public input gathered through two phases of community consultation. Residents were first asked to complete a survey on the old site’s usability and then tested sample menus to help shape how content is organized and accessed.
“It was clear to us from the beginning that residents wanted a site that was intuitive and easy to navigate,” Millar said. “Their feedback directly influenced the structure of the new site.”
Mayor Scott Jibb said the launch marks a key step in improving transparency and public engagement, thanking both staff and community members for their contributions.
The redesign is the result of months of work by municipal departments, supported by community insight at every stage. Residents are now encouraged to explore the new website and continue providing feedback to help the township refine its digital services further.
The new site is now live and accessible.
