The Peterborough Lakers will close out the regular season Sunday in Port Hope against the Kodiaks. With second place already locked up, they’ll face Brooklin in the first round of the playoffs, with game one expected next week.
The Jr A Lakers are in Orangeville tonight for Game 3 of their semifinal series against the Northmen. Peterborough trails the best-of-seven 2-0. The series returns to the Memorial Centre for Game 4 on Sunday at 7pm.
Three Kawartha Lacrosse teams are off to provincials this weekend. The U9s, U11s and U13s are in Oakville chasing Ontario titles.
On the rugby pitch tomorrow at Nicholls Oval, the Peterborough Pagans 2XV team plays at 2pm, followed by the 1XV at 3:30pm. Both squads will face Markham.
And on the diamond tonight, the Peterborough U10 Tier 1 Tigers host Kawartha at 6pm at East City Bowl.
