The schedule is set for the Major Series Lacrosse semi-final between the Peterborough Lakers and the Brooklin Lacrosse Club, a familiar matchup with a well-established playoff history. The schedule was posted this morning on Brooklin’s social media channels.
The second-place Lakers will face fourth-place Brooklin in a best-of-seven series beginning Thursday, July 31 at 8 pm at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
It marks the fourth straight year and sixth time in the past seven seasons that the two clubs have clashed in the playoffs, with Peterborough winning each series, including back-to-back sweeps in 2023 and 2024.
Here are the first five games:
Game 1: Thursday, July 31 – 8 pm at Peterborough Memorial Centre (PMC)
Game 2: Saturday, August 2 – 8 pm at Iroquois Park Sports Complex (IPSC)
Game 3: Monday, August 4 – 7 pm at PMC
Game 4: Wednesday, August 6 – 8 pm at IPSC
Game 5: Thursday, August 7 – 8 pm at PMC (if necessary)
Games 6 and 7, if necessary, still to be determined.
