The City of Peterborough is inviting residents to provide input on the planned rehabilitation of the Sherin Avenue boat launch.
Currently closed due to its condition, the Sherin Avenue launch is the only public access point for boats located south of Lock 19. The city aims to improve the facility to better serve local boaters and waterfront users.
A public information session will take place on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 6 p.m. at Admiralty Hall, located in Peterborough Naval Memorial Park at 24 Whitlaw Street. This session will provide details about the project and allow residents to ask questions.
In addition to the session, residents can share their feedback through an online survey available at connectptbo.ca/sherin-boat-launch. The survey closes Friday, July 25.
