A 46‑year‑old Peterborough man already wanted on a warrant is facing multiple new charges after two alleged break‑ins at the same home.
City police say officers were first called to a Glenforest Boulevard residence around 5 a.m. on June 15th after a vehicle and other items were taken. The homeowner’s vehicle was returned several hours later, but the suspect allegedly re‑entered the house, prompting a second police response.
Investigators discovered the man was already wanted for failing to comply with probation stemming from a June 2 incident. He was arrested on the outstanding warrant and further charged with break and enter, motor‑vehicle theft, two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking, and theft under $5,000.
Police say the accused, who is bound by a probation order to stay away from the victim, was held for a Weekend and Statutory Holiday court appearance on June 15.
