A 48-year-old Peterborough man is facing multiple drug trafficking charges following a police operation earlier this week.
Officers with the Peterborough Police Service Drug Unit arrested the man Tuesday morning, near Reid and McDonnel streets. Police say the arrest was part of an ongoing investigation into drug activity in the area.
A search following the arrest led to the seizure of hydromorphine tablets, 1.2 grams of fentanyl, 1.4 grams of crack cocaine, and a small amount of Canadian currency.
He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on August 12.
