A 37-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges following a break and enter incident.
Police were called Saturday to a residence near George Street and King Street where it was reported that someone had entered overnight. Items taken from a child’s room included a piggy bank, a picture frame, and puzzles. No one was injured during the incident.
Through investigation, a suspect was identified. At approximately 4:30 p.m. that day, officers on patrol spotted the suspect near Charlotte Street and George Street and took him into custody.
The man is charged with break and enter – dwelling house with intent to commit an indictable offence.
