The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a theft in Hamilton Township and is asking for the public’s assistance.
Police say they received a report on September 5, 2025, about several items stolen from a residential address, including a vintage Penny Farthing bicycle valued at approximately $3,000. The bicycle is easily recognizable by its very large front wheel and smaller rear wheel.
Investigators are urging anyone with information about the incident or the whereabouts of the stolen items to contact the Cobourg Detachment at 905-372-5421 or the OPP non-emergency line at 1-888-310-1122, quoting Occurrence E251221304.
Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
Information provided may lead to a cash reward of up to $2,000.
Police say their investigation is ongoing.
