Peterborough County OPP are investigating after a truck, trailer, and heavy equipment were stolen from a commercial property on County Road 4.
Police were called last Thursday after one of the stolen loaders was found abandoned on Douro 8th Line and the company’s white pickup truck was located nearby. Officers later confirmed that a trailer and a mini excavator were also missing. The theft is believed to have taken place in the early morning hours.
A black J&J Model LD2 flatbed trailer and an orange Kubota KX40 mini excavator remain outstanding.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact Peterborough County OPP at 705-742-0401, the non-emergency line at 1-888-310-1122, or Crime Stoppers.
