Police are looking for witnesses after a motorcycle rider suffered life-altering injuries in a crash on County Road 49 in Bobcaygeon Friday afternoon.
City of Kawartha Lakes OPP, along with Fire and EMS, were called to the scene around 12:35 pm after reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle near Main Street.
The rider, a 56-year-old man from Burnt River, was first taken to hospital before being airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre.
County Road 49 was closed for several hours as the OPP’s Traffic Collision Investigation team examined the scene.
