Napanee drivers will soon see parking changes on Richmond Park Drive.
Starting September 1, 2025, parking will be banned on both sides of the street between Bridge Street West and Dundas Street West. The Town says the change is needed to improve safety and keep traffic moving smoothly near the hospital.
Officials say the road is too narrow to allow both street parking and two-way traffic without creating hazards. The no parking zone will help ensure emergency vehicles, patients, and visitors can access the hospital quickly and safely.
The update is part of the Town’s ongoing efforts to improve traffic flow and public safety in busy areas. Drivers are advised to plan ahead and watch for new signs along Richmond Park Drive before the changes take effect.
