A beloved Peterborough musician is being remembered for his mentoring and support of other musicians
Terry Finn died July 10th following a long battle with cancer. He was 70 years old.
A natural musician from an early age who played multiple instruments, Finn’s love of music evolved into a love of teaching when he opened Finn’s House of Music. A young Serena Ryder was among the many students he tutored and supported.
Inducted into Peterborough’s Pathway of Fame in 2013, Finn performed in Peterborough and abroad as a member of a number of bands, including Parnell alongside fellow Pathway inductees Barry Haggarty and Ken Deschamp.
Visitation will be held this Thursday (July 17) in the Showplace Cogeco Lounge, from 1 to 3 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:15 p.m.
