A staple in the community for nearly a decade, the award-winning Hops on the Water Craft Beer Festival is making a return for one last round in Trenton next month.
The one-day festival is set to return for a grand finale on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Front Street Farmers’ Market Pavilion in Trenton.
According to the city, festival-goers can expect a packed afternoon featuring local craft breweries and beverage makers, along with food vendors, roaming buskers, live music and interactive games.
“This event has been a community staple for the past 10 years,” said Colleen Vickers, a special events co-ordinator with the City of Quinte West. “We’re sending it off in style, with a full day of great beer, great food and great memories.
“It’s a true celebration of Quinte West’s appreciation for craft breweries and community spirit.”
For the last three years in a row, the festival has been crowned among the best and featured among the Top 100 by Festivals and Events Ontario. Admission is $10 at the gate.
This year, organizers have noted that advanced tickets won’t be available and entry will be on a first-come, first-admitted basis. The venue does also have limited capacity.
Meanwhile, tokens for food and beverage samples will be available on-site for $2.50 each, with a $10-token purchase limit at a time.
Admission and token sales will be by debit and credit payment only.
As this event wraps up, the city said another is on tap. In 2026, the city has announced that “Quinte West Fusion Fest” will bring together people through food, music and local culture, as a brand-new event for the region.
More details on the new festival are to be announced later this year.
