It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of the passing of Councillor Dave Pinnell Jr., who proudly served the residents of Ward 3.
Dave was a dedicated public servant who brought passion, integrity, and a deep commitment to community service throughout his two terms on Council. He was also an active member of the Market Square Committee and the Pool Committee—initiatives he cared for deeply and championed with enthusiasm.
His contributions to our municipality and the lives he touched will not be forgotten. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Dave’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Dave’s legacy of service and kindness will live on in our community. He will be deeply missed.
Funeral arrangements will be shared as soon as they are available for those who wish to pay their respects. Consideration of Councillor Pinnell’s Council duties will be discussed at a later date.
