Greater Napanee Council has approved a three-year extension for the draft plan of the Millhouse Yards Subdivision. The original plan, approved in October 2020, had a five-year approval timeline.
Phase 1 of the project has already been registered and largely built. Town staff said draft plan extensions are common for large subdivisions and help municipalities manage servicing allocations for projects that are progressing more slowly.
The subdivision, owned and developed by James Selkirk Custom Homes, is a two-phase project that will include 38 single detached homes, 63 street-fronting townhouses, and an apartment block with approximately 41 units. The development also includes parkland, open space, stormwater management, and public roads.
