Nominations are still being accepted for the City of Peterborough’s Holnbeck and Youth Volunteer of the Year awards.
The Holnbeck Award honours a person or couple who has made a lasting impact through volunteer work that supports people with disabilities. Nominees can reside in either the city or county of Peterborough.
The Youth Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes a young person, aged 18 or under in 2025, who has helped deliver or support community programs through volunteerism.
The deadline to nominate someone is August 8.
Details and nomination forms are available online at peterborough.ca/civicawards or can be picked up at City Hall, 500 George Street North, between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.
