A drug-trafficking investigation in Belleville has led to six arrests and the alleged seizure of cocaine, crystal meth, cash and a handgun, say police.
According to the Belleville Police Service, a drug-trafficking investigation led members of the drug unit to conduct a vehicle stop on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025. The stop resulted in the arrest of two men and one woman, reported police.
Police said a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant was then executed in the west-end of the city, with help from canine and emergency response units, leading to additional arrests.
As a result of the investigation, police allege they’ve seized 21.5 grams of cocaine, 109 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a 22-calibre handgun, and $3,930 in Canadian currency.
The accused include residents from Whitby, Peterborough, and Belleville.
Here’s the rundown of charges from police following their investigation:
A 16-year-old Whitby youth – who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act – was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine, possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000, careless storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm, knowledge of unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm, possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition, and failure to comply with an undertaking.
An 18-year-old Whitby man was also charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine, possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000, careless storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm, knowledge of unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm, and possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition.
A 29-year-old Peterborough woman was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine, possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000, careless storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm, knowledge of unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm, and possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition.
A 29-year-old Belleville woman was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine, and failure to comply with an undertaking.
Another 45-year-old Belleville woman was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, and possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine.
A 40-year-old Belleville man was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine, and breach of probation.
None of these charges have been proven in court.
