A 42-year-old man is facing multiple charges after a string of mischief incidents in downtown Lindsay early Wednesday morning.
City of Kawartha Lakes Police were called to a Kent Street West business around 2 am after a glass break alarm was triggered. Officers arrived to find a damaged glass door and a broken flower pot. A second alarm nearby led police to a suspect, who was quickly taken into custody.
Investigators say several local businesses and city-owned properties were damaged, and one theft was reported.
The Lindsay man is charged with six counts of mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000, and failing to comply with a probation order. He was released with a court date.
