Residents are invited to celebrate the official opening of Bonnerworth Park on Thursday, November 6 at 2 p.m. at 560 McDonnel St.
The park’s upgrades include a new bike pump track, expanded skateboard park, new pickleball courts, and improved landscaping with shade areas and a multipurpose trail connecting all amenities.
The celebration will feature remarks from officials and park user groups, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and an opportunity for visitors to explore the park’s new features.
The weekend of November 8 and 9 will continue the festivities, with demonstrations from user groups and chances for residents to try new hobbies and sports.
A full schedule of weekend activities will be shared closer to the opening.
