Work on the axle fibre project continues in Brighton today (Friday, Oct. 31.)
The Municipality of Brighton said crews will be working in the George Street and Young Street intersection area to allow for underground cable installation as part of the project.
While both lanes of traffic will remain open, traffic controls will be in place to ensure safety during the work, said officials.
“We appreciate your patience and co-operation as we continue to improve our infrastructure,” municipal staff told residents.
