The City of Quinte West has unveiled the detailed lineup for the last Hops on the Water Craft Beer Festival.
The award-winning festival has been a staple in the community for nearly a decade, and will have its grand finale featuring breweries, food vendors and entertainment this Saturday, Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Front Street Farmers’ Market Pavilion in downtown Trenton.
Organizers say the finale promises an afternoon full of local flavour and live entertainment, featuring craft breweries and beverage makers from across the region. On tap are Meyers Creek Brewing Company, Prince Eddy’s Brewing Co., MacKinnon Brothers Brewing Co., and more.
Meanwhile, Barbacoa Boyz, Hogg Food Co., and more will be dishing up unique eats, and there will be live music all day headlined by Mystic Highway, a Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute band, from 4 to 6 p.m. Vinyl Groovz will be rocking oldies on the stage from 1 to 3 p.m.
“The Hops finale is a true toast to the community and the incredible local talent and artisans we’ve had the privilege to showcase over the past decade,” says Colleen Vickers, a special events co-ordinator with the city. “With this year’s lineup, we’re celebrating Hops on the Water with great beer, great food and great memories.”
Festival admission is $10 at the gate, taxes included. Organizers are reminding attendees that this is a cashless event and advanced tickets aren’t available this year.
Entry is on a first-come, first-admitted basis – and the first 1,500 eventgoers get a commemorative Hops on the Water mug from past festivals. Tokens for food and beverage samples are available onsite for $2.50 each, with a maximum purchase of 10 tokens at a time, note organizers.
The full brewery, vendor and entertainment lineup is available online now via the city’s website.
As previously reported, the city has announced plans for a Quinte West Fusion Fest coming in 2026, which will also bring people together through food, music and culture as a brand-new event for the region.
