Vintage cars and motorcycles will be on full display this Sunday (July 13) as Lang Pioneer Village in Keene hosts its 28th annual Transportation Day.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., classic car and motorcycle owners from across Ontario will display their vehicles, each vying for one of 25 trophies, including the People’s Choice and Lang’s Choice awards.
Admission is $17 for adults, $12 for students and those 60 and over, and $9 for youths aged 5 to 14, with those under 5 years old admitted free.
Lang operations manager Elizabeth King speaks to Transportation Day’s evolution.
King says the annual event serves as a great introduction to the pioneer village for those who have never visited the longtime local attraction.
King says for museum staff and volunteers, the opportunity to show off Lang’s pioneer buildings and displays is a source of pride.
Lang Pioneer Village is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. For more information about upcoming events, visit www.langpioneervillage.ca.
