Leading up to Remembrance Day there is a unique experience coming to Port Hope to immerse yourself in history.
Jim Palmer and Steven MacKinnon present Our Great War Pilgrimage, in which they tell the story of their ancestors in the First World War.
Palmer says he has always been interested in history so this was something he wanted to do.
MacKinnon says his interest started a little differently.
Palmer says it is quite an indepth talk.
MacKinnon says they started the presentation by touring schools to teach history students a more intimate view of WW1.
Palmer adds there is a musical component as well.
Our Great War Pilgrimage takes place Saturday November 7th in Port Hope at the United church 34 South Street beginning at 6:30 p.m.
