The art Gallery of Northumberland is asking: are you ready to investigate what may be hiding in the shadows?
You’ll have the opportunity this month to go to the gallery and Victoria Hall after hours to hunt for ghosts with paranormal investigators.
Supernatural Mysteries Inc. is leading the tours to search for signs of the afterlife and you can even use some tools of the trade including a spirit box and a A REM Pod (Radiating Electromagneticity Pod).
Cultural heritage manager at the gallery Lindsay Fler was at the first event and says it’s a hands-on experience.
Fler will be on the tours to answer questions about the history of the buildings alongside the investigators. Fler says she has experienced some eerie feelings when in the gallery alone.
Fler says if you aren’t sure about hunting in the dark, but still to see what all this is about, the gallery has launched a new exhibition called “At the Threshold.”
The next investigations happen October 23rd and 31st. Tickets are $40 and participants are urged to bring a water bottle, layered clothing and their curiosity.
