Residents packed the venue Monday night for the final debate of the 2026 municipal election campaign, organized by the Alnwick/Haldimand Ratepayers Association.
The event featured school board trustee candidates Lindsey White and Jaine Klassen-Janinga, along with council hopefuls Jim Hogg, Jim McCormack, Ron Farrow, Kathy Ritchie and Terry Carruthers.
Candidates addressed issues including accountability, communication, infrastructure, development and the township’s future, with residents also invited to ask questions.
