This weekend is giving crafters a chance to clear out old supplies, discover something new and maybe pick up a new hobby along the way.
The Bash Your Stash garage sale takes place Sunday, October 4th at the King Edward Park Arena Community Centre in Brighton from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event features 23 vendors offering a variety of craft supplies.
Organizer Suzanne Scanlon says the sale is also a good opportunity for people who are new to crafting to learn from experienced crafters and find supplies to get started.
Scanlon is a crafter herself and says the name Bash Your Stash came from having years of supplies of her own that needed to find a new home.
With 23 vendors taking part, organizers say there will be plenty of different supplies and creative possibilities to explore.
Scanlon recommends visitors bring cash and a reusable bag or two, as it may be easy to find more supplies than expected.
The sale runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the King Edward Park Arena Community Centre in Brighton.
