The Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation is inviting residents to step back into old Hollywood while helping modernize breast healthcare in the community.
Tickets went on sale Wednesday for the 2026 “Singin’ in the Rain: Hollywood Style” gala, set for Nov. 7 at the LiUNA Local 183 Lifelong Learning Centre in Cobourg.
Proceeds will support four major equipment upgrades at Northumberland Hills Hospital.
The foundation says the investments include a new 3D mammography unit, ultrasound equipment, a bone mineral density scanner and wire-free breast tissue localization technology.
Organizers introduced the gala’s “elevated cocktail” format last year and plan to build on its success. The foundation says the new equipment will help support earlier diagnosis, greater patient comfort and improved outcomes for people undergoing breast health care in Northumberland County.
