A Cobourg driver has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in a parking lot.
Police responded to a business in the Elgin Street West area at about 7 p.m. Tuesday following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian. Officers found the pedestrian at the scene. The person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation resulted in the driver being charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
