Tuesday: Starting at 11 a.m., Coffee Social – Drop In is a relaxed opportunity to sit down, enjoy a cup of coffee, and connect with others in the community. Whether you’re looking to meet new people or simply enjoy some friendly conversation, it’s an easygoing way to spend part of your day. Community Health Centres of Northumberland, in Port Hope.
Tuesday: Starting at 5 p.m., Kids/Teens After School Art Classes give young artists a chance to explore their creativity, build new skills, and experiment with different artistic techniques in a fun and supportive environment. It’s a great way to unwind after school while creating something uniquely your own at Journey Through The Arts, 190 Hope Street North in Port Hope.
Wednesday: Starting at 10 a.m., the Me & The Bees Tour offers a hands-on look at the world of beekeeping, with a chance to get up close to a working hive and learn how bees make honey. It’s a fun and educational experience for anyone curious about these important pollinators and what goes on inside the hive at The Bee Works in Port Hope.
Wednesday: The R.I.S.E. Wellness Program is a chance to connect with others while picking up practical ideas around healthy living, nutrition, movement and mental wellness, with different sessions to choose from and no registration required. It starts at 2 p.m. at the Northumberland Family Health Team office in the lower level of Northumberland Mall, in Cobourg.
