Tuesday: Starting at 7:30 p.m., the Concert Band of Cobourg’s Summer Concert Series brings the sounds of talented local musicians to the waterfront for a relaxing evening of live music. Tuesday: Starting at 10 a.m., the Me & The Bees Tour is a hands-on way to get up close with a working beehive and learn what goes into making the honey and beeswax products we use every day. You’ll get to see an open hive, hold a frame, learn how honey makes its way from hive to jar, and even try some of the beekeeping process yourself at The Bee Works on County Road 2 in Port Hope.
Wednesday: Starting at 8 p.m., Movies in the Park is a great way to enjoy a summer night outdoors with a free movie under the stars. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, grab some snacks, and settle in for a relaxed evening with family and friends at Memorial Park, 44 Queen Street in Port Hope.
Wednesday: Starting at 11 a.m., Kids Learn to Knit gives young crafters a chance to learn the basics of knitting while building a creative skill they can enjoy for years. It’s a fun, hands-on way for kids to make something of their own and gain confidence with every stitch at Yarn It!, 9 Elgin Street East, Unit 6D in Cobourg. Yarn It!
