The Workforce Development Board (WDB) is asking employers across Northumberland and the surrounding region to help shape its next Local Labour Market Planning Report.
Business owners, human resources professionals and anyone responsible for recruitment are invited to complete a short online survey as part of research for the 2026-2027 Local Labour Market Planning Report.
The annual report examines employment trends, workforce challenges and opportunities across Northumberland, Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton, helping inform local workforce planning and economic development initiatives. The report combines labour market data with feedback gathered from employers, educators, employment agencies and other community partners.
The Workforce Development Board says employer feedback is an important part of identifying current hiring needs, skills shortages and other issues affecting the regional labour market.
Organizations of all sizes are encouraged to participate.
