The Trenton Trentonian and the Community press newspapers will be discontinued tomorrow, June 25th.
After reporting on Northumberland and Hastings for decades they’ve decided to switch to an online only format after rising costs and decreasing circulation.
Last week was the final week PostMedia produced a weekly newspaper; the decision will impact at least 50 full time jobs and 200 part time jobs.
