Cobourg Fire Department and Cobourg Police Service responded to a single-vehicle collision Friday afternoon after a vehicle crashed into the lobby of an apartment building at 86 Munroe Street.
Emergency crews remained on scene investigating after the vehicle struck the building entrance, injuring a pedestrian inside the lobby area.
Police at the scene said the victim, a 77-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred on private property and police say there was no impact on surrounding traffic.
A tow truck had arrived on scene as crews worked to clear the damaged vehicle, and authorities expected the scene to be cleared shortly thereafter.
No information regarding possible charges or the cause of the collision was immediately available.
