Cobourg police say a driver is facing charges following a pedestrian collision Wednesday evening in the west end of town.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Westwood Drive and Ewing Street on the evening of May 27 after reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.
Police say the driver remained at the scene following the collision.
The pedestrian was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital for treatment of injuries. The extent of those injuries has not been released.
Following the investigation, police charged the driver with careless driving.
No further information has been released.
