For more than 25 years, All Creatures Great and Small has been helping pet owners across Northumberland care for their animals through nutrition, wellness and education.
Located in downtown Cobourg, the independently owned business was founded by Theresa Rickerby with a focus on helping animals “live longer, stronger and healthier lives” through natural health and wellness approaches.
While food and nutrition remain central to the business, All Creatures Great and Small has expanded over the years to include a wide variety of additional services and supports for pet owners.
That includes natural teeth cleaning, dog training and behavioural support, chiropractic care, cold laser therapy and workshops focused on helping owners better understand their animals.
The business also works with dogs, cats and horses, offering supplements, treats and wellness products tailored to different animals and lifestyles.
Rickerby says the goal has always been to support pets from a whole health perspective while helping owners navigate an increasingly complex world of pet nutrition and wellness information.
All Creatures also hosts monthly community dog walks through downtown Cobourg aimed at helping owners connect, socialize and spend more time exploring the community alongside their pets.
The walks are held the third Thursday of every month beginning at 6:15 p.m. outside the shop.
