One of Cobourg’s signature summer fundraising events is preparing to return in support of Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation.
Wine and Ale in the Park takes place June 25 from 6 until 9 p.m. under the Lions Club of Cobourg tent in Victoria Park.
Tickets for the annual fundraiser will go on sale beginning at 12:30 p.m. on May 20 through the NHH Foundation website.
Now entering its eleventh year with presenting sponsor Tony Pulla of Re/Max Rouge River Realty Ltd., the event will once again feature pairing stations with local cuisine along with wines, ales and other beverages from Northumberland area vendors.
Participating food vendors this year include The Mill Restaurant and Pub, Toller Pizza, Everyday Chef’s Best, Prep Food Co. and Dalewood Golf Club.
Confirmed beverage vendors include Ganaraska Brewing Company and Cold Springs Brewery, with additional vendors expected to be announced. Organizers say a mocktail option will also return this year for attendees preferring non alcoholic beverages.
NHH Foundation CEO Rhonda Cunningham says Wine and Ale has become one of the community’s most anticipated events because it brings people together in support of local health care.
Tony Pulla says he is proud to continue supporting the Foundation and the care provided at Northumberland Hills Hospital close to home.
Tickets are priced at 100 dollars each and include food samplings and two beverage vouchers. Additional beverage vouchers will be available for purchase during the event.
Foundation officials are encouraging residents to purchase tickets early as the event traditionally sells out quickly.
