Cobourg police say officers are on scene at St. Mary Catholic Secondary School following a report of threats.
Police say a search of the building is currently underway as part of the investigation. Officers are working with school staff to clear the building and ensure the site is safe.
Officials confirm that no students are in the school, as today is a scheduled P.A. day.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
Members of the public are being asked to avoid the area while officers continue their work on scene.
