PHPL will be there with a booth, library sign up and some new books!

Join us for stories, songs and rhymes. A great program for school readiness and meeting other families in our community.

Bibliotherapy with NHH CMHS

2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
This group will read and discuss various works of literature related to a different topic each week. Groups topics will focus on resilience, coping skills, emotional intelligence and wellness. All reading material will be provided and read out loud in the group. No preparation is needed from participants ahead of time. Discussion on the literature will relate the stories read to our own lives and discuss ideas in the group.
This is not a therapy group, or a processing group. This group is a place for people to learn more about a new topic and relate to literature with other groups members. This is in partnership with Northumberland Hills Hospital Community Mental Health Services team.
