Port Hope Police say they are investigating a break and enter at a gas station in the area of Ontario Street and Phillips Road and are asking for the public’s help.
Police say the incident occurred around 2 a.m. on March 31, when three suspects entered the business. Investigators say the suspects were dressed in all black clothing and were wearing face coverings and gloves.
Police say the suspects removed a safe and a large quantity of cigarettes before fleeing the scene.
According to investigators, the suspects were seen leaving the area in a dark coloured Ford F150 crew cab, FX4 model.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing as officers continue to gather evidence.
Port Hope Police are asking residents and businesses in the surrounding area to review any available CCTV or dash camera footage that may have captured suspicious activity around the time of the incident.
