Local families are invited to take part in a free afternoon of Easter themed fun this weekend in Port Hope.
The Easter Eggstravaganza is set for Sunday, March 29 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the Town Park Recreation Centre on McCaul Street.
The event will feature a variety of activities for children and families, including an egg hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny, inflatables, crafts and games.
Organizers say the egg hunt will take place from 1 to 2 p.m., or until supplies last, and is expected to be one of the most popular parts of the event.
Admission is free, making it an accessible option for families looking to take part in seasonal activities in the community.
The event is designed to offer a fun and welcoming environment where residents can gather and celebrate together.
Families are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they can take part in the egg hunt and enjoy the full range of activities available.
The Town Park Recreation Centre is located at 62 McCaul Street in Port Hope.
More information about the event and other seasonal activities can be found through the Town of Port Hope website.
