The Town of Cobourg is notifying residents that the Regular Council Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, 2026, will now begin at 3 p.m., rather than the previously scheduled 6 p.m.
According to the Town’s Legislative Services Division, council voted during a recent meeting held for the purpose of closed session to move the start time. The change is intended to ensure agenda items receive the appropriate time and attention for thorough consideration.
The agenda for the February 25 meeting has been posted online through the Town’s eScribe portal at cobourg.ca/escribe.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting in person in Council Chambers, located on the third floor of Victoria Hall at 55 King Street West.
Residents can also watch the meeting live through the Town of Cobourg livestream available on the same webpage. A recording of the meeting will be posted following adjournment for those unable to attend or watch in real time.
