StrikeUP Canada is entering 2026 after a year marked by growth, collaboration and expanded national reach, as it continues to support women entrepreneurs through free programming and connection opportunities.
In 2025, StrikeUP strengthened its role as a national connector, engaging more founders and expanding partnerships that make its digital offerings accessible at no cost. To date, more than 22,000 women entrepreneurs across Canada have taken part in StrikeUP programming, which focuses on advancing equity and inclusive economic growth through entrepreneurship.
That momentum continues with StrikeUP 2026, a free, one-day digital conference bringing together women entrepreneurs, ecosystem partners and national organizations from across the country. The conference is designed to support thoughtful leadership, informed decision-making and sustainable business growth during a period of ongoing economic change.
The event is co-presented by the Scotiabank Women Initiative and Export Development Canada, reflecting continued national support for women-owned businesses. StrikeUP 2026 will open with a keynote address from Dr. Hayley Wickenheiser, whose experience in leadership and performance under pressure is intended to set the tone for the day.
In addition to keynote sessions, the conference will include interactive workshops and structured networking opportunities, giving participants space to connect, share experiences and apply practical learning to their businesses.
StrikeUP 2026 takes place February 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The event is free to attend, with registration now open at strikeup.ca.
Founded by Nventure, StrikeUP Canada delivers year-round programming focused on growth, funding, digital adoption and global opportunities for women entrepreneurs nationwide.
