Conservative MP Scott Reid doesn’t think there’s a baseline anxiety among Conservative Members of Parliament as recent floor crossings have the Liberals one seat away from a majority government.
The Caucus Chair doesn’t believe it will happen but if it does, it’ll be what he consider a “strong minority,”
He says the moves from MP’s Michael Ma and Chris d’Entremont were not connected.
Ma’s departure particularly shocked Reid.
Reid says d’Entremont sought party leadership for years and couldn’t drum up much support.
