The Port Hope Police Service is seeking dashcam footage from motorists who were travelling on Highway 401 on December 18, 2025, to assist with an ongoing impaired driving investigation. A heavily damaged vehicle was discovered in the Toronto Road carpool lot, prompting police to review available video to confirm timelines and vehicle movements.
Police say that even brief clips may be helpful. Members of the public can securely submit dashcam footage online using the dedicated submission link or QR code. The Port Hope Police Service is working in collaboration with the Ontario Provincial Police as part of this ongoing investigation.
